Bean - Pole, Kentucky Wonder - Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
Kentucky Wonder Beans have set the standard for pole beans since the 19th century. This variety of bean is very versatile and will grow just about anywhere – even in poor soil. The vines produce generous yields of meaty, tender pods that are 7-9" long. They are string-less when young and have an excellent flavor.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow seeds in well-drained soil in a sunny location after the threat of the last frost has passed. Pole/runner beans grow bigger than bush beans and need a great deal of space and good support. Pole/runner beans need at least 3 feet between rows and 7-12" between plants. This varies if you are making a green bean teepee or other type of support system for your runners.
