Orach, or Mountain Spinach, is a cousin to spinach. It is native to Asia/Europe and thrives in normal garden soil. The leaves can be harvested throughout the summer and used just like spinach either cooked or in salads and on sandwiches. Older leaves are best when boiled.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow seeds in well-drained soil in a mostly sunny location. Sow seeds ½ - 1" deep, covering lightly with soil. Sow about 12 seeds per foot of row, or sprinkle over a wide row or bed.
